Reflections magazine, Issue 12

First off; Reflections magazine equals QUALITY.

This thick release from The Netherlands has inspired me a lot. The editor behind Reflections, Johan, has a real "More than music"-type of approach going in his writing and he has managed to be genuinely interesting.

One thing that is also closely tied to Reflections is open-mindedness. The mag has had interviews with people from different areas within hardcore punk -scene and beyond. Johan´s own ideas and worldviews are shown within his work, but he also gives room to alternative ways of thinking and I feel he truly is enjoying when he discusses with the people he interviews.

This issue was released somewhere around the end of 1998/beginning of 1999  and is a "7 Seconds tribute issue". This issue features interviews with Kevin Seconds, Good Clean Fun, Culture, Gameface and Sick of it All, just to name a few. This issue also contains "Making of"-type of info on the 7 Seconds tribute-compilation done by Reflections records. Currently, the label founded around the magazine has quite an impressive bunch of releases under its belt. See for yourself:

Most of the issues of Reflections magazine are out of print, but #15 is still awailable. To get it, go HERE.
